What you get

Real, selectable text — not an image of a page. That's what makes it readable by screening software.
The document you saw in the preview. Preview and export share one rendering engine, so page breaks and spacing match.
No watermark, on the free plan or Premium.

Check it before you send

Thirty seconds, once:

Open the file itself, not the preview.
Check the last page. That's where an unexpected orphan line shows up.
Select all and copy the text into a plain text editor. If it pastes as sensible text in a sensible order, a parser will read it fine.

Naming the file

Rename it before you send it. Sarah-Okafor-Resume.pdf is easier for someone with forty attachments than whatever the browser called it.

Before you download, if you just bought

Downloading or exporting a document voids the standard refund conditions. Exporting is the value moment of a purchase, so it ends the standard refund window for it.

Good to know

On the free plan you can export your one editable resume. Locked resumes can't be exported. See the one-resume rule.
Cover letter and resume can go out as one file. See download your resume and letter as one PDF.
A downloaded PDF is yours permanently. It doesn't stop working if your plan ends.
