The free plan gives you one editable resume. If you've had Premium before, everything you built then is still here, saved as locked previews you can't open until you upgrade again.
How it works
- On the free plan you can always have one resume you can edit.
- Resumes built during a Premium period become locked previews when Premium ends. They stay on your dashboard as locked cards, and nothing is deleted. You can't open, edit, or download them while they're frozen. Upgrade again, or pick that resume as your editable one, and everything comes back exactly as you wrote it.
- Locked resumes never count against your one. However many you have parked, you can still create a fresh editable resume whenever you want.
That last point is the one people are usually worried about. Having ten locked resumes doesn't block you from starting an eleventh and editing it today.
Nothing is deleted
We don't delete resumes when a plan ends. Locking is not a countdown to deletion — a locked resume sits there until an upgrade makes it editable again, or until you delete it yourself.
When Premium ends, you choose which one stays editable
At the moment your plan ends, if you have more than one resume, you'll be asked to pick the single one that stays editable. The rest lock. That prompt appears once, at the genuine downgrade moment — it won't come back at you later, and it won't reappear if you delete a resume afterward.
When you upgrade again
Upgrade again and every locked resume becomes editable immediately. There's no restore step and nothing to re-import.
Good to know
- You can delete a locked resume from your resumes if you don't want it anymore. That's permanent.
- If you need a copy of the content before it locks, download the PDF while you still have Premium, or export all of your data — the export includes your resume content as JSON.
