If your resume is still mostly empty, AI review won't run. You'll get a calm card saying let's build it up first, naming what's missing.
Why we block it
Because a score on an empty document is a lie with a number attached.
There isn't enough content to say anything true about structure, bullets, or match. Whatever came back would be noise, and you'd act on it. The five minutes you spend filling in your experience will do more than any review of a blank page could.
It also means we don't charge a paid run against a document that can't be assessed. But if the only reason were cost, we'd let it run and take the money.
What still works
The paid run is what's blocked, not the panel. Your live presentation read keeps rendering as you type — you can watch Structure and Bullet Quality respond while you fill things in. The panel never goes blank on you.
What to do
- Add your name, email, and location.
- Add a job title at the top, or a couple of sentences of summary — see do you need a professional summary?
- Give your most recent role two or three real bullets — what you did, at what scale, with what result. See writing bullets that land.
- Run the review.
The card names what it's still missing, so start with whatever it points at.
Good to know
- The check runs on our side before anything else happens, so you can't be charged a run for a document that would fail it.
