The Interview Card is the thing you actually take with you. It sits in the right rail during a session and it's one collection per resume, growing across every session you run.
What accumulates on it
Examples that worked. The stories that landed well — so when you're asked something similar on the day, you already know which one to reach for.
Metrics you keep using. The numbers you find yourself citing. Having them written down means you say "four days" confidently rather than "about a week, I think".
Questions to ask them. Good questions surface while you're thinking about the role, not in the silence at the end of the interview when you're asked for them.
Resume tune-ups. When an answer you gave was stronger than the bullet describing it, that's flagged — because it means your resume is underselling something you can clearly talk about. Take it back into the editor.
It grows, it doesn't reset
Each session adds to the same card. Five sessions in, you have a prep sheet built from your own best answers rather than something you'd have to write from scratch the night before.
One card per resume. A different resume targeting a different role builds its own.
Export it
Download the card as a PDF. That's the point of it — the thing you read on the train, in the car park, in the ten minutes before the call.
How to get the most from it
- Run more than one session. The card is thin after one and genuinely useful after three.
- Act on the tune-ups. They're the highest-value thing on there. An answer you can tell well but haven't written down is a bullet waiting to be written.
- Export it the day before, not the morning of.
- Read it, don't memorise it. You want the examples available, not a script.
Good to know
- The card is tied to the resume, so it comes along conceptually when you duplicate — but check it, since a copy targeting a different role may want different material.
